Global Methodist Church Mid-Texas Conference
In the aftermath of severe flooding this summer, the Mid Texas Conference of the Global Methodist Church is mobilizing churches to meet needs and share God's love. Through the conference's disaster relief partner, Texans on Mission, you can catapult people forward in their disaster recovery process by participating in construction projects of all sizes. Construction experience preferred but not necessary.

Open Arms Shelter
Open Arms Shelter, a Biblical faith-based organization – providing temporary shelter and guidance toward an independent life through hope, encouragement, and shelter. “For I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” Matthew 25:35. Visit Open Arms Shelter for additional information.
In October-November, the Open Arms Shelter will need assistance assembling beds for their new facility. Our church will team up with First Methodist Leonard to help meet this need. Please consider volunteering for this outreach opportunity. More information to come on the date & time.

Soldier's Village
No veteran should experience homelessness. SoldiersVillage provides immediate, low barrier access to safe, support housing. Residents have access to shelter, food, clothing and hygiene products as well as have the opportunity to engage in house programs related to developing skills in areas such as financial management, employment readiness and emotional health.
