Children's Sunday School
Children’s Bible Study at church is a place where young hearts and minds are nurtured with love, faith, and joy. Through creative teaching, caring relationships, and a welcoming community, children grow into compassionate, thoughtful, and resilient people of faith. The lessons learned and friendships formed during Bible Study become treasured parts of each child’s spiritual journey, shaping not only their understanding of God but their place in the world. Children need to hear the Bible stories, learn about the real heroes, find out who they belong to and just how much their Heavenly Father loves them. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me, for the Bible tells me so!
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is a fun, faith‑filled summer event designed to help children learn about God through engaging, hands‑on activities. Kids experience Bible stories, music, crafts, games, and meaningful moments that help them understand God’s love in ways that are joyful and memorable.
At its core, VBS is about sharing God’s love with children and creating a place where they can grow, laugh, worship, and belong. It’s a ministry that blesses the entire church — bringing volunteers together, welcoming new families, and planting seeds of faith that last long after the week is over.
Grace Methodist Church held its first-ever Vacation Bible School in June 2026, and it was fantastic. Children explored the “Nature of God” through activities that helped them see God’s character in fresh, exciting ways. The joy, energy, and community that filled our church made it a milestone we will always remember.

Youth
Youth Director - Brant Scarbrough
Our youth program is meant to guide adolescents through the formative years of faith, identity, and community. Recognizing the unique challenges and questions that arise in the teenage years, this ministry provides a supportive environment where young people can explore their beliefs, ask honest questions, and form meaningful relationships with peers and mentors alike.
Rooted in the idea that teenagers are not just the church of tomorrow but an essential part of the church today, the ministry equips youth to be thoughtful leaders and compassionate members of their faith community. Teens are encouraged to embrace their gifts and passions, to serve others in love, and to discover how their faith intersects with everyday life. The welcoming atmosphere ensures every young person feels seen, heard, and valued, fostering a sense of belonging that carries into adulthood. Raising teenagers in the world today is not easy. It truly takes a village! But we also understand being a teenager isn't easy either. It takes a community of faith.
